DAY 1: CUSCO – SANTA MARIA (bike and rafting optional)

We will start with the pick up from your hotel between 7:00 am to 7:30 am and then head towards the sacred valley of the Incas, on the way we can appreciate the beautiful Andean landscape, we are our first stop in the town of Ollantaytambo, here we will have our first breakfast and we can buy  water, snacks, or visit the hygienic services, then we will go to the Abra Málaga, 4316 masl, (14271.6 feets) starting point for the biking , we will begin the descent on the bicycles approximately in 3hrs, until we reach the town of Huamanmarca on the way we can see snowfall and then while we descend tropical landscapes. We can count on the support of the transport throughout the route of the descent by bicycle, then board our bus on the final route to go to the town of Santa María 1200 meters above sea level, where we will arrive at approximately 2:30 pm. We will go to the hotel to leave our things and rest a little or have the option to do (rafting)

After dinner the guide will give some recommendations for the next day.

* We have the option of Rafting, the cost is $ 35 per person, the Vilcanota River has the category III to III + we will give you the necessary equipment  (helmets, life-saving vests)

Swimming is essential, rafting can be practiced between April and December.


We will begin at 6:00 a.m. To enjoy a delicious breakfast, then we will start the trek to Santa Teresa, we will have the first 2 hours of walking (approximate ascent of 650 meters); We can take small breaks in the homes of local families and we can observe a little of their customs and traditions, during the walk we can observe a small section of the Inca trail that connected machupicchu with the last Inca shelters. We can appreciate the flora and fauna that is still in place.Arriving at the highest point (vilcabamba) the guide will explain the system of roads used by the Incas at that time (Inca Trail) and their importance at that time, then we will descend to reach the town of Quellomayo where we will have our lunch and a small rest , then we will continue the walk for 2 more hours until we reach the hot springs of Cocalmayo, we can take a relaxing bath and then continue with our walk for 40 minutes towards the town of Santa Teresa 1540msnm where we can have dinner and spend our second night.


We will start the day with a walk of approximately 3 hours in the first section of the route we will find waterfalls coming from the glaciers and then arrive at Hydroelectric and be able to have lunch, in the afternoon we will continue with our walk through the train tracks (3 hours) until To arrive at the town of Machupicchu, also known as “hot waters” we will go to our hotel to leave our luggage and then have dinner and receive the next day’s programming.


This day we will have the option of practicing (zip-line) an adventure option that can be done at 15mnts from the town it takes  2 hours approx (it is reliable and safe) includes transportation to hydroelectric, then walk for 3 hours to machupicchu (hot water)

DAY 4: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO (walk and visit of the Inca citadel)

We arrive at the most important day you will be able to know Machu Picchu one of the 7 wonders of the world, we will begin the ascent towards Machu Picchu to arrive just for dawn the walk lasts approximately 2 hours or to have the option of being able to climb n bus the cost is $ 24 per person, the first bus leaves at 5:30 am.

Already in the archaeological park you will have 2 hours included for a guided tour after this you will have time to be able to explore more and then return to Aguas Calientes in which you must be at least 30 minutes before. If you managed to buy the Huayna Picchu ticket in advance you can climb this mountain (the visit capacity is limited provided by the government and the Ministry of Culture. (Train returns are subject to change so it is better to prevent) arriving in Ollantaytambo will wait for you to embark on the city of Cusco (it is important that Check your name before leaving) We will arrive in Cusco (regocijo square) in approximately 2 hours.
